Verifiable certificates: why we made them public by design
A certificate nobody can check is a PDF. A certificate anyone can verify in one link is proof. We chose the second.
Most course certificates are decorative — an image with a name on it. Employers know it, learners know it, and so the credential signals almost nothing.
Every Melbrix certificate carries a short public ID. Anyone — a recruiter, a client, your future boss — can open melbrix.com/verify/ID and see the student's name, the course, the issue date and the grade band. No login, no friction.
Yes, we show only a first name and last initial. Verification proves the credential exists and is active — it doesn't expose the learner's full identity.
Trust compounds. When credentials check out, course quality is next — which is why our graded certificates require passing scores, not just completions.
